I am the official Photographer for the East Coast Blues & Roots Music Festival which is Australia's largest International Festival of Blues and Roots Music. The Bluesfest is held on the full moon at Easter over a five day period. There are links at the side of the page to the last four Byron Bluesfestivals with a photo gallery of my shots for each one.
My photos are exclusive in the Byron Bay calendars, 2004, 2005 and 'The East Coast Bluefestival Calendar' 2006-07. My work has appeared in local and national magazines. I have won photographic contests held by Canon Australia, and the Daily Telegraph...My photo gear consists of Canon 5D, 70-200 f2.8 IS, 17-40mm, Canon 24-70mm. I shoot in raw format and all my work is processed through 'Adobe Lightroom'. My mine influence in photography has been Minor White...

I live and work from the 301 Music Studio and SAE college in Byron Bay. The opportunity to live here has led to designing CD covers mainly for Aim record company and various musicians around the Byron Bay area. I also design simple clean web pages using my graphics and photos, sample links on the side. If you are interested in any of my shots my contact details are below. Byron Bay is on the East Coast of NSW Australia. A small sub-tropical coastal town with a big reputation for being a meeting place of sub-cultures. It is where the rich, the artist and the hippy drink in the same coffee shop. The name 'taojones' came about through my username in photographic forums on the internet.
